国际竞争激烈的运动，比如足球，大部分对抗性都比较强，在比赛中会出现一些身体接触或碰撞，不同年龄group和不同文化背景的队员在碰撞中可能对待碰撞的力度和意图理解不同而出现misunderstanding，进而相互争论，甚至产生conflict。所以一些人认为international competitive sports such as football bring conflict between people of different age groups and nationalities。

而另外一些人觉得对于热爱同一种运动的人而言，能通过这样运动，增进对彼此的了解。虽然来自不同的国家，但如果热爱并且执着于同样的运动，那么他们就会relate to each other，并相互尊重，从而在运动中培养出更紧密的关系，并成为朋友。

我认为有的时候在竞争激烈并且身体对抗性较强的运动中，确实有时候容易产生误解或conflict。但如果有公证和坚决的裁判，就能让这样的误解或conflict大大降低。而大部分的运动虽然竞争激烈，但是人们更多会通过运动，理解彼此甚至彼此国家的文化，从而建立更深厚的友谊。
