K.I.S.S. IELTS ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use kissielts.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and what rights you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information: when you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and a username and password (passwords are stored in securely hashed form).
- Course and learning records: your course enrollments, progress, and related records, used to deliver our educational services to you.
- Payment information: course payments are processed through third-party payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal). We do not store your card numbers or other sensitive payment details — these are handled by the processors under their own security standards.
- Contact and inquiry information: when you contact us by email or a contact form, we keep the information you provide so we can respond to your inquiry.
Our Email Practices
We send educational and marketing emails only to our subscribers — a new address is added to our marketing mailing lists only when its owner actively subscribes. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honored immediately, and we stop sending marketing email to that address right away. Transactional email (such as password resets and payment receipts) is sent as needed to support your account and transactions, and is separate from marketing email. Bounce and spam-complaint feedback is processed, and affected addresses are suppressed from further marketing email.
Analytics and Cookies
The Site uses a self-hosted, privacy-respecting analytics tool (Umami) alongside standard web analytics services (Google Analytics and Baidu Analytics) to help us understand how the Site is used and to improve our services. Session cookies required for login are necessary for the Site to function. Content delivery and security for the Site are provided by Cloudflare.
How We Share Information
We share information only with the following types of third parties, and only to the extent necessary to provide our services:
