阅读:p3的matching已经变得相对简单了,只挑选几个段落总结大意,鹅且是相对好理解的题干,不是形而上学的那种;
Nowadays some people tend to participate in extreme sports. This essay will start with the factors contributing to this phenomenon and followed by the measures that can be taken to alleviate the issue of danger.

There are several reasons why people like to take part in sports of extreme. The primary reason is that they are easily bored with the ordinary life and want to feel excited. There is no doubt that most people, especially adults, lead a tedious life with 9 to 5 work routines, which motivates some people who cannot derive pleasure from regular sports to seek for more exciting sports. Another reason resulting in individuals to take part in extreme sports is that they want to forget something unhappy. For example, bungee jump encourages participants to jump from a very high position, which enables them to let go of their feelings, thus facilitating to empty minds and erase emotional pains.

Both individuals and governments should take actions to reduce the dangers. For individuals, it is necessary for them to receive some training and equip themselves with relevant knowledge and skills before participating a specific extreme sports, which allows them to perform correctly in practice, minimising the injuries caused by the participants’ wrong actions. For governments, since they are accountable for these sports facilities, which means they should regularly inspect the sports environment and the equipment to ensure that they are maintained properly, thus reducing the injuries caused by the malfunctioning.

In conclusion, the feelings of excitement and forgetting emotional pains are two reasons that drive people to participate in extreme sports. To reduce the dangers, individuals and governments should take responsibility to take some measures.

It is true that many people like to participate in extreme sports nowadays. There could be several reasons why this is the case, and I believe that both individuals and governments should take action to prevent dangers.

This phenomenon is caused by several reasons, but the primary reason is the desire for excitement. There is no doubt that most adults lead a fixed work routine and this makes them feel bored and tedious and encourages them to find something exciting to spice up their life. Therefore they take part in extreme activities and derive the excitement from the adrenaline rush generated by the dangerous sports. Another reason that leads to the popularity of such sports is its function to remove pains in our minds. Some extreme sports provides individuals unique experience, taking bungee jumping for example, participants are encouraged to jump from a very high location and experience a free fall. Such action can facilitate them to empty their mind and forget about unhappiness, which is beneficial for individuals’ emotional well-being.

In my opinion, in order to reduce the dangers caused by extreme sports, both individuals and governments should take measures to prevent accidents. For individuals, it is necessary for them to equip themselves with certain knowledge and skills and receive proper training before participating in the activities. If participants are aware of how to perform correctly in doing the sports, it is less likely for them to make mistakes and get injured. For governments, they are widely considered to be responsible for the safety of relevant sports facilities. If they can conduct regular inspections of these facilities to ensure that the sports environment is safe and the relevant equipment is maintained and functioning properly, the potential dangers caused by accidents will be reduced.

In conclusion, the pursuit of excitement and the forgetting emotional pain are the two main reasons resulting in the popularity of extreme sports, and the risk of sports dangers can be alleviated by the measures taken by both individuals and governments.

People need to be encouraged to take training courses to practice risky sports . For exmaple, government can promote affordable training courses for scuba diving, mountain climbing or boxing, so that more people will study necessary skills before they participate in those dangerous sports.

Also, if government invested more money on better facilities / venues, there would be better functions/ equipment to protect participants during the sports, ...

Lynn
